KMB is a volunteer organization of dedicated Manhasset residents working to beautify Manhasset by cleaning-up and preventing litter, planting trees and flowers, beautifying our community, and increasing community awareness about these issues. Through its programs, KMB's goal is to engage Manhasset residents to help keep Manhasset clean, green and beautiful.

KMB was founded on the ideal that a clean and beautiful community helps to improve the economic vitality, health, safety and quality of life for everyone.KMB's rograms center on educating and building partnerships and volunteer opportunities with Manhasset residents, civic organizations, businesses and our elected officials -- together, we can eliminate litter, beautify our community, increase awareness and improve our town's appearance with the natural beauty of trees, flowers, landscaping and green spaces.

KMB is endorsed by the Manhasset Chamber of Commerce and has the support of our elected officials in the Town of North Hempstead. What KMB needs most, however, is YOUR help.

How Can You Help?

KMB has several volunteer opportunities:
First, if you want to be a part of the KMB team please contact us -- you can be one of the motivated and civic-minded Manhasset residents helping implement KMB, come up with ideas to support our goals and organize events. Whether you are a student, a professional, a homemaker or retired, we need your help! Whatever your expertise or interest, KMB has a number of fun and exciting projects you can work on. Second, KMB has several volunteer projects where you can get involved and directly help keep Manhasset clean, green and beautiful, including our Community Clean-up events and Adopt-a-Spot programs. Go to our "Programs" page to find out about other opportunities.

Third, KMB is a non-profit organization that relies on contributions from individuals and businesses in Manhasset. You can become a partner not only with a generous donation of your time and services, but with your financial contribution as well. Your donation will provide the much-needed resources to fund KMB's community-based programs focused on improving Manhasset. Your generosity will sustain KMB's mission of education and action.
